Paid admission to the Museum of Glass buys each visitor a new hands-on arts experience each month, designed to entertain and inform people of all ages. For 12 bucks more, the museum offers a noon Hot Lunch, at which a box lunch from Gallucci's Glass Café fills your belly while live glassmakers in the Hot Shop keep your eyeballs enchanted. Of course, you'll also be dazzled by ongoing exhibits by Richard Craig Meitner, Dale Chihuly, Beth Lipman and Ingalena Klenell.
[Museum of Glass, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., free for kids, $12 for Hot Lunch on Fridays (must reserve lunch by 5 p.m. Thursday), 1801 E. Dock St., Tacoma, 253.284.4719]
