They called out to ye faithful, and all ye faithful answered. Saturday May 10, at the third annual Gig Harbor Beer Festival, I watched the gigantic beer garden in the middle of the posh Uptown Gig Harbor retail hub space slowly but surely fill up with the most faithful of beer-goers. Let me assure you, shelling out about $25 for a six-hour session of beer sampling is absolutely worth it, especially when many of these beers have been just released, or are limited-edition, or are 9 percent ABV and up. Aisle of View and Perry Acker bands provided the soundtrack. Beautiful, beer-y day in Gig Harbor. - Ron Swarner
