Are you and the family looking for all of the excitement of a professional baseball game but in an intimate environment at a more affordable price?

Then get your family, significant other and/or friends together and take them out to the ballgame to see the AAA team of the Seattle Mariners - the Tacoma Rainiers this season.

"We have an incredible amount of options for game day fun for young adults, kids and families," said Tacoma Rainiers Media and Communications Manager, Brett Gleason.

"In addition to the excitement of the game, we recently installed a state-of-the-art play structure and regulation-sized Whiffle ball field at Cheney Stadium," said Gleason.  "One hour prior to first pitch we offer the opportunity to kids and families to get autographs from one of the Rainiers players - coming back on different nights can net you autographs from many different players."

The Rainiers offer several promotions every month throughout the season and also provide a booming sound system and tasty game day treats, to include Cracker Jacks.

"Some of our most popular family events include our Little Caesars Family Meal Deal ticket plan, and Chick-fil-A Bring The Herd promotions on select Sundays throughout the year," said Gleason.  "Kids and families will also love the sights and sounds of our in-game entertainment, directed by the incomparable Casey Catherwood, and the tastes of our world-class concession options."

Keeping the little ones excited and entertained can become difficult after the hotdogs are gone and the game is underway, but the Rainiers have a solution to keep the kids occupied while the grownups enjoy the game.

"Prior to the 2016 season, we introduced the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Family Pavilion, which houses a state-of-the-art play structure and the regulation-sized Whiffle ball field," said Gleason.  "Not only are these areas open on all game days, but they are open to the public throughout the year during regular business hours."

"Both game day experiences are amazing, but I think we offer a uniquely fun experience for fans in the South Sound and all across the Pacific Northwest on a nightly basis," said Gleason.  "Rainiers games are incredibly exciting, and offer the opportunity to get your eyes on the game's up-and-coming talents before they make a name for themselves in The Show."

The Tacoma Rainiers offer a plethora of opportunities for the entire family and will even conduct several military-specific game day discounts and experiences as well.

"We offer a military discount on all Reserved Seat tickets throughout the year, and frequently welcome group outings from Joint Base Lewis McChord," said Tacoma Rainiers media and Communications Manager, Brett Gleason.  "On Sunday, June 19 we will host our annual Salute to Armed Forces night, in honor of local veterans and active duty military."
