America's Credit Union (ACU) is thrilled to unveil exciting new opportunities for students at South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) with the introduction of two ACU Craft Brewing and Distilling Scholarships starting this spring. These scholarships aim to support students keen on diving into the dynamic and burgeoning industry. Given ACU's involvement in financing Heritage Distillery and SPSCC classrooms within the Tumwater Craft District, the synergy between our organizations is palpable.

Phil Prothero, ACU President, expresses the sentiment of this partnership aptly: "ACU and SPSCC make an ideal match. We view this as an investment in our community's future entrepreneurs. By nurturing these students today, we're sowing the seeds for thriving businesses and livelihoods tomorrow."

Beyond scholarships, ACU is also extending its support to SPSCC's athletics programs, reflecting our eagerness to contribute meaningfully to the Olympia and Tumwater communities. With the imminent opening of our Tumwater branch, our engagement will only deepen, fostering greater collaboration and impact.

Kelly Green, SPSCC's Vice President for Advancement, commends ACU's commitment to empowering students and fueling the region's economic growth: "These scholarships epitomize ACU's dedication to fostering opportunity for our future business leaders."

Scheduled for completion in the summer of 2024, the ACU Tumwater Branch, nestled within the Craft District, promises to be a hub of innovation and collaboration. For more information about the ACU Craft Brewing and Distilling Scholarship, visit the links below.
