CHEAP COFFEE: It might be on the tail end of the deal, but Downtown Tacoma Cutters Point (1936 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) is serving 50 percent off drinks between 6 a.m. and noon through Feb. 4. Hellz yes.

CHILI COOK-OFF: Northwest Harley-Davidson (8000 Freedom Lane N.W., Lacey) hosts a Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5. The cost is $5 to taste, $10 to enter - with proceeds going to help Bob Montoya heal after his motorcycle crash.

CHOCOLATE TASTING: Here’s a foodie event sure to entice any red-blooded American man or woman: Weekly Volcano scribe Steph DeRosa is hosting a beer, wine, port bubbly and chocolate tasting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 at Beyond the Bridge Cafe on Tacoma's Sixth Avenue. Local foodie and beer & wine expert Kris Blondin will bring the goods, and explain each pairing. This tasty event is by reservation only (click the "I'm Going" button!) so don’t delay and surprise your valentine early! The cost is $15 per person.

TWO GREAT TASTES: The Enumclaw Wine & Chocolate Festival will be held from 4-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Enumclaw Expo Center (45224 284th Ave. S.E, Enumclaw). The cost is $15 at the door.

WINE DINNER: Dukes Chowder House (3327 Ruston Way, Tacoma) will serve a five-course Bonterra wine dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10. The cost is $65. Reserve your space at 206.985.9466.

WEEKEND OF LOVE: Pacific Grill (1502 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) will serve a Valentine's menu, including special desserts, Feb. 11-14. Check it at 253.627.3535.

VALENTINE'S MENU: Brix 25 (7707 Pioneer Way, Gig Harbor) will serve a special Valentine's menu Feb. 11-14, which includes creative red cocktails from the bar.

BACON: Doyle's Pubic House (208 Saint Helens Ave., Tacoma) serves three pieces of bacon for $1 beginning at 8 p.m. every Monday.

CRAB FEAST: On Sundays and Mondays through February, Salty's at Redondo (28201 Redondo Beach Dr. S., Des Moines) will serve a pound of Dungeness crab with all the trimmings for $24.99.

SUNDAY NIGHT SOUP: The Bayview School of Cooking (516 W Fourth Ave., Olympia) will teach you how to make three soups at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16. The cost is $45. Reserve your spot at 360.754.1448.

WINE TASTING: El Gaucho (2119 Pacific Ave., Tacoma) hosts another "Off the Vine" wine tasting and retail event from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25. Enjoy wine tastings with light appetizers, meet local wine representatives and have the opportunity to purchase bottles or cases of anything tasted at a special price. Cost is $10 per person plus tax. Reservations not required; pay at the door.

BIB ‘N BID: The Junior League of Tacoma's 5th Annual Crab Feed will happen at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Tacoma Yacht Club. Besides all the crab you can eat, there will also be a silent and live auction, and no host bar. Tickets are $50, and are available at www.jltacoma.org.
