GOURMET HOT DOGS

RESTAURANT OPENING

Overtime - Tacoma's Bar and Grill opened March 30 at 3118 Sixth Ave., Tacoma.  Open Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Rumor is, they'll be showing the UFC fights with no cover charge. 253.572.6346.

WINE AWARD

Adriatic Grill (4201 S Steele St., Tacoma) won the Washington Restaurant Association award in the 2012 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards, recognizing restaurants that go above and beyond to support Washington Wines.

Topside Bar and Grill (215 Wilkes Street, Steilacoom) opened March 23in Steilacoom in the former Jake's Bar and Bistro location. Open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. 253.212.3690.

NEW SPRING MENU

JW Restaurant (4107 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor) has launched a new spring menu featuring a variety of new dishes, including a drunken goat cheese appetizer ($10), wild salmon sliders ($12), spring lamb meatloaf ($20) and porcini mushroom ravioli ($17). Call for reservations at 253.858.3529.
