WINE FESTIVAL

The Red Lion Hotel (2300 Evergreen Park Dr. SW, Olympia) invites you to "wine down" from summer at their Corks, Forks, Wine and Food Celebration at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. The featured menu highlights Cuban-inspired flavors paired with an extensive wine selection. There will be music, dancing and fun all for $18. Must be 21 and older to attend. HARVEST DINNER

The Olympia Farmers Market (700 N. Capitol Way, Olympia) will be concluding their summer dinner series at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2. The Summer's End Harvest Dinner is a six-course dining experience using market fresh ingredients crafted by Chef Will Taylor of Waterstreet Café and Aqua Via. Dinners Done Right (8640 Martin Way E., Lacey) is hosting an open house tasting at 6 p.m. Sept. 4. Sample three of their September meals, including breakfast empanadas and cheesy beef noodle bake jambalaya, during this complementary event.
